About the role
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Training Support Specialist to join our SAP S/4HANA implementation team. Your mission: support the development and delivery of innovative, engaging training materials that help our users master the new system and accelerate adoption.
If you have hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and a passion for designing modern learning content that goes beyond traditional slides and manuals, this is your chance to make a difference in a major digital transformation.
This role is key in ensuring a successful change adoption and knowledge transfer across our multi-audience user base. The ideal candidate will combine deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA with hands-on experience in supporting training development and delivery across complex transformation programs.
Accountabilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining a variety of training materials such as eLearning modules, interactive simulations, quick reference guides, videos, and job aids for SAP S/4HANA users.
- Support the delivery of training sessions and provide hands-on user assistance during go-live and post-go-live phases.
- Ensure training delivery scheduling and logistics are carried out effectively and efficiently.
- Collaborate with functional leads, training leads, and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevancy of training content.
- Leverage creative tools and technologies (e.g., SAP Enable Now, Articulate, Camtasia, or similar) to produce engaging and user-friendly materials.
- Help manage training schedules, user feedback collection, and continuous content improvement.
- Provide end-user support and troubleshooting related to training content and platforms.
We are looking for
Skills & Experience:
- Able to influence without formal authority (persuasive, consensus builder, good communicator).
- Excellent organisational skills, including attention to detail and ability to see the ‘big picture’.
- Strong people management skills.
- Experience of working in large scale transformation programmes underpinned by technology transformation would be preferred.
- Previous experience of working to support an ERP implementation, specifically with S/4 HANA preferred.
Knowledge:
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA in a training, support, or functional role.
- Proven ability to create innovative, interactive, and effective training materials using modern authoring tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of instructional design principles is a plus.
- Familiarity with SAP Enable Now or similar digital adoption platforms is highly desirable.
Attributes:
- Highly organised with the ability to see ‘the big picture’ and a strong focus on outcomes.
- Logical, analytical, and multi-tasking.
- Highly people focused.
- Must be able to think and plan strategically; yet possess a detail-oriented, pragmatic management approach.
- Ability to travel to sites across the UK as required.
