WELLBEING

 

At Bakkavor, we are committed to creating the right culture and environment to improve and support the health and wellbeing of all our colleagues and their families. This includes our Wellbeing Champions, who are Bakkavor colleagues that work across all our UK sites, offices and labs to support and signpost colleagues, helping them to access the right support services, and organise wellbeing events throughout the year on a range of topics that really matter.

 

We also work closely with GroceryAid, who are a charity that provides support to colleagues working in the grocery industry and their family.

  • EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAMME (EAP)

    Our confidential Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) offers a range of physical, mental, and financial health guidance, including counselling support that’s available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and services that’re available in over 150 languages. There is something on there for everyone and it is available to all colleagues across the UK.

PENSION SCHEME AND LIFE ASSURANCE

 

Our Pension Scheme is managed by our partner, Standard Life. We make contributions with you to help you save for your retirement.

 

We also provide Life Assurance and pay a cash sum to your nominated beneficiary if you pass away while employed at Bakkavor. This covers all colleagues under the age of 75.
