Salary: £33,000 to £37,000 plus study support
Our Bakkavor business in Bo’ness, based near Falkirk, specialises in the production of fresh, high quality salad products working primarily with premium retailers. To give a feel for the scale of manufacturing in Bo’ness we produce over 70million salad-based meals and side dishes from our 2 manufacturing facilities employing over 1200 people in the town.
The Role
In this busy and exciting role, you will provide management accounts support to the operations and development team, and a proactive and effective business partnering relationship with the site teams.
Accountabilities
- Supporting in the costings process for all development activity.
- Liaising with Development, Commercial and Operations to help support in accurately capturing relevant information and communicate with key stakeholders.
- Supporting in maintenance of costing master data in finance systems
- Supporting the management accounts process and supporting FBP & SFBP.
- Supporting op’s teams and other business managers to ensure they understand the information provided and are utilising it to improve performance.
- Generating ad-hoc information which will support the analysis of business performance or support the understanding of standard costs.
- Identifying areas of improvement and weaknesses - suggesting modifications as appropriate
About You
Ideally you will have previous experience of a similar role within a fast-paced food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
You will be qualified or working towards relevant qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA or equivalent and possess the ability to manage large volumes of data into usable formats.
Excellent communication, analytical, customer service and excel skills will be key, as will the ability to produce accurate and informative management account reports.
