Warehouse FLT Operative
Shift: Friday to Monday 05:45am - 16:05pm (37 hours per week)
Rate of pay - £11.16 per hour
The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective communication skills and have the ability to work within a small team of people, deliver efficiencies, meet daily performance targets and improve performance.
The key duties include:-
Prepare and operate Fork Lift Truck (FLT), carrying out safety checks in line with procedure. |
Receive delivery of raw materials, carrying out quality checks and organising unloading process in line with procedures. |
Transfer and store raw materials ensuring accurately labelled. |

Supply the team with the correct quantity of raw materials by loading onto machine and accurately recording the amount delivered. |
Complete warehouse paperwork ensuring that information is written clearly, accurately and within specified time frames. |
Visually check the quality of the product (colour, texture and size) against standard. |
Maintain hygiene standards by ensuring the area meets required GMP standards. |

Use STACK procedure, when necessary, to enable non-conformances to be resolved efficiently (Stop, Tell manager, Product on hold, Can’t start line until it is fixed, Keep a record) |

Take instruction from Co-ordinators, Team Managers and more senior managers. Able to interpret instructions and make decisions using well defined precedents. |

Supports, trains and guides employees including new starters and agency workers as required. |

Communicate effectively with others at all times. |

To demonstrate tasks and accountabilities competently at all times, including visits and audits by external parties. |

Able to work effectively as part of a team. |

Applies attention to detail to ensure paperwork is completed accurately. |
The ideal candidate requires a FLT Licence and proven knowledge in a similar role, however, training may be given to the right candidate. The successful candidate must be able to understand safety operations, maintenance procedures, instructions and customer specifications. They will have the ability to work on their own initiative as well as working well within a team and able to communicate at all levels within the factory.
