Location - Bakkavor Wigan

 

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)


Working Hours: 8.30am – 5pm, Monday to Friday

All About the Role
A great opportunity for a highly capable SHE Advisor to take responsibility for all SHE related accountabilities at Bakkavor Meals Wigan
In co-operation with the management team your key responsibilities will be to:
 

  • Ensure that the requirements of all relevant SHE legislation are followed and implemented, and that the Business complies with corporate and legal requirements at all times.
  • Ensure a positive and constructive SHE culture is prevalent throughout the Business.
  • Deliver continuous improvement in Health, Safety and Environment standards and practices year on year.

 
All About You
The Ideal candidate will have:

  • NEBOSH certificate or equivalent as a minimum  
  • Proven track record of delivering H&S improvements
  • Passionate about SHE to effectively engage with and influence people at all levels to facilitate change.
  • The ability to present information coherently, accurately and persuasively 
  • PC literate
  • Desirable experience within food manufacturing, level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate & good understanding of GMP/hygiene standards
