Location Spalding – This is a remote role with travel to Spalding to meet business needs

Monday – Friday 8.30 – 17.00

We supply meals, salads, desserts, pizza and bread to leading grocery retailers including Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose, and also have operations internationally in the US and China.

 

About the role.

This role is central to the Client Domain within Group IT, involving both strategic and operational responsibilities. The role requires a deep understanding of End User Devices and Services, ensuring products and services align with Group IT's objectives.. 

This is a key role operating within the Infrastructure and Operations domain structure and will act as an owner/champion for one or more products and/or services through their full life cycle from inception, growth, maturity, decline to retirement.

 

  • Product Management: Own the full product lifecycle, from concept to retirement. Develop product propositions, prioritise requirements, and maintain the product roadmap. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and enhance relationships with stakeholders, gather feedback, and drive effective prioritisation. 
  • Supplier Management: Monitor supplier performance, implement improvements, and leverage supplier expertise for product development. 
  • Change Management: Identify business opportunities, conduct cost/benefit analysis, and prepare business cases for complex changes. 
  • Problem Solving & Analysis: Support Service Delivery colleagues in diagnosing business issues, conduct cost/benefit analyses, and support business case development. 
  • Strategic planning: Contribute to the strategic planning process, ensuring plans to evolve products and services are aligned to the strategy for its respective function and Group IT.

 

About you.

The Product Lead will demonstrate proven project delivery and stakeholder management, leadership and commercial awareness.  They will also drive continuous improvement with a strong focus on Customer Experience and incorporate emerging industry trends into strategic planning, thus contributing significantly to the organisation's growth and success

You will ideally be:

  • Expert in End User Services
  • Experienced in the full Product Management lifecycle, with a strong grasp of business operations and product profitability.
  • Skilled in stakeholder communication and influence, with in-depth knowledge of market concepts and rules and organisational processes.
  • Project/change management experience in tech projects
  • Familiar with systems, products, and contracting procedures, including SLA development and management
  • Strong commercial, organisational, and time management skills with attention to detail
