About the role

 

In this busy and exciting role you will be responsible for ensuring that Bakkavor Financial Reports are robustly updated. You will have a strong focus on financial data and reporting and the chance to get involved in a range of routine reporting and ad hoc data analysis.

 

Role Accountabilities

 

Performance reporting and Business Partnering

 

  • Running the daily and weekly tracker processes, ensuring that they are consolidated and circulated to management according to prescribed timetables.
  • Maintenance of the tracker file and assist in developments as required
  • Processing of month end adjustments
  • Assist in the set up and data collection for month end reports, ensuring the files reconcile and any discrepancies are queries and resolved
  • Running UK & Group ABC reporting and associated business partnering
  • Working with laboratory team to understand cost drivers (Variable, semi variable & fixed)
  • Maintenance of live EBITDA rec, including updating data sets, collation of data and reaching out to stakeholders with any queries/discrepancies

 

Forecasting

 

  • Co-ordination of the UK element of re-forecasts, including both the pre-submission process and final submissions
  • Ensuring any discrepancies in the re-forecasts are queried and resolved
  • Maintenance of live rolling forecast files and raising queries with stakeholders where appropriate
  • Maintain head count reporting and reporting of actual vs forecast

 

Relationships and Teamwork

 

    • Developing effective cross functional relationships to enable reporting requirements to be delivered both in line with deadlines and robust information to support decision making.
    • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their goals and determine how data can be used to deliver them.

 

Business Reporting

 

    • Maintenance of Cognos extract files, including developing new reports as required
    • Work alongside the wider finance function to identify and remove any areas of duplication
    • Working alongside Senior UK Finance Analyst to build a new suite of reports to improve and deliver business insights

 

Ad hoc

 

    • Assist the team as necessary with ad hoc FP&A Analysis.
    • Provide cover for other members of the FP&A team
    • Support team with any reporting changes as part of transition to SAP (Vision)

 

 

About you

 

If you have a can-do attitude, an analytical mindset, strong communication skills and a passion for quality data collection and analysis then this could be the ideal role for you!

 

To thrive in this position, you must be deadline focused, articulate and highly organised, as this fast-paced role requires great time-keeping skills. You will need to have a strong ability to work comfortably with multiple priorities across multiple stakeholders and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a wider team.

 

In addition to this, being highly skilled in MS products (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and excellent attention to detail will be key, as well as, an understanding of ERP systems and the ability to use multiple ERP systems concurrently.
