About the role

Bakkavor has set the vision to build a world class SAP solution, through Project Vision, that delivers outstanding customer and colleague experience, technology innovation, integrated & comprehensive solutions to ensure our operations run without impact.

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Training Development & Execution Manager to drive the design, development, and delivery of end-user training for our SAP S/4HANA implementation, with a strong focus on finance process areas—Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (OTC), and Record-to-Report (RTR).

This role is critical in ensuring a successful change adoption and knowledge transfer across our multi-audience user base. The ideal candidate will combine deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA with hands-on experience in finance business processes and a proven ability to lead training efforts across complex transformation programs.

As a dynamic, self-starter, the individual will have the ability to communicate with, and influence senior stakeholders, and build critical relationships in the business to foster high degrees of trust and collaboration.

We are looking for

Skills & Experience:

  • Able to influence without formal authority (persuasive, consensus builder, good communicator).
  • Excellent organisational skills, including attention to detail and ability to see the ‘big picture’.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Experience of working in large scale transformation programmes underpinned by technology transformation would be preferred.
  • Previous experience of working to support an ERP implementation, specifically with S/4 HANA preferred.

Knowledge:

  • Proven experience as a Training Lead on at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation.
  • Deep functional understanding of finance-related SAP processes (P2P, OTC, RTR).
  • Strong background in developing and delivering end-user training for enterprise systems.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Attributes:

  • Highly organised with the ability to see ‘the big picture’ and a strong focus on outcomes.
  • Logical, analytical, and multi-tasking.
  • Highly people focused.
  • Must be able to think and plan strategically; yet possess a detail-oriented, pragmatic management approach.
  • Ability to travel to sites across the UK as required.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in leading Training on large-scale transformation programmes.
  • ‘Big four’ consulting experience would be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning best practices preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
