Accountabilities

Quality Systems Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a quality management strategy that ensures facility documents meet and exceed regulatory, GFSI, internal and customer specification compliance, while supporting the growth of the business

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Sets the agenda for change in Quality Systems at Bakkavor USA across multiple facilities and teams
  • Takes people with them, supports plant teams by delivering effective and practical system based solutions to regulatory document management
  • Develops, implements, and drives the document control system by creating and implementing SharePoint.
  • Develops and implements training and engagement of SharePoint document control to production facilities.
  • Creates and maintains controlled documents, such as policies, programs, and procedures that ensure companywide compliance to regulatory, GFSI and customer standards.
  • Develops, implements, and drives food safety training matrix in the Alchemy system with HR, Health and Safety and Operations at a facility level.
  • Project Management and data entry as tasked to develop, implement, and drive data management systems, such as implementation of environmental monitoring data systems.
  • Builds and manages Quality Systems team, develops team members and assigns goals, as needed, to meet accountabilities.

 

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or related combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.  HACCP/PCQI certification and GFSI training preferred.
  • Experience developing document control, quality systems, and training programs, systems, and processes that support a fast paced, deadline driven environment where quality and delivery is paramount
