ABOUT THE ROLE: 

The Production Supervisor will part of the Bakkavor Operations team. They will lead employees and contribute to the production quality and output. Bakkavor’s Production Supervisors are champions of safety, GMPs, and staff development paving the way for company success.

 

  • Monitor steps of the process
  • Set processing variables
  • Observe control points and equipment
  • Identify and implement cost reductions
  • Develop reporting procedures and systems
  • Facilitate corrections to malfunctions within process control points.
  • Interview, select, orient, and train new employees
  • Ensure all necessary documentation
  • Provide manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions, and responding to requests.
  • Manage team and investing in employees
  • Address employee conduct or performance problems by investigating issues
  • Demonstrate Company Values

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE 

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration or related field
  • 3-4 years previous operations leadership experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.  
  • Experience workian ng in industry regulated by FDA and/or USDA preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
