Salary: £38,000 - £41,000 depending on experience 

Location: Bourne, Lincolnshire

Contract Type: Permanent

Shift and working hours: 4 on 4 off 6am – 6pm (flexibility required)

Bakkavor Bourne specialises in making prepared fruit, leafy salads and stir fry mixes. It employs over 1,100 people and forms part of the Bakkavor Meals sector in the UK.

We are looking for a Site Services Engineer to ensure all site services and building / structural requirements are maintained to an acceptable /regulatory standard, e.g., water, steam, refrigeration, air compressors, drainage, air conditioning etc.

In this role you’ll also ensure that all customer audit non-conformances are completed within the given timescales to maintain / complete.

Job Accountabilities:

• To ensure all site services e.g., steam, water, drainage electrical – HV etc. are functioning within legal, customer, environmental and business requirements.
• Ensure all compliance records are managed and maintained
• Maintain all service contract records and schedules
• All structural areas of the building are to be monitored and maintained to an acceptable standard.
• All required works are documented and completed on the business CMMS system.
• Carry out all required works allocated through the CMMS system including all customer non-conformances, PPM’S, structural works, auxiliary works and anything the business may at times require you to undertake
• All Site lighting systems to be maintained and emergency lighting to be inspected and tested in accordance with regulations and any defects being populated on the CMMS system and corrective actions taken within a reasonable time
• All Site air handling systems to be inspected as per the maintenance schedules and maintained to an agreed acceptable standard.
• Ensure air conditioning and refrigeration systems to comply with the F-gas regulations.
• Maintain and update all facilities drawings
• Manage / Coordinate with all external contractors and service providers surrounding facilities service contracts.
• All tasks delegated by the Site Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager

About you

You will ideally have experience in a food manufacturing environment and be used to working at a fast pace. We are looking for an Engineer with experience working in site-services. Ideally you will be electrically-biased.
