Occupational Health Advisor – Lincolnshire

Shift: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week (we’re happy to consider 4 day a week options, with a minimum of 35 hours across 4 days).
Salary: Competitive depending on experience
Hours: 8.30am – 5pm with flexible approach to working hours. Most of our sites operate across days/nights on a 4 on 4 off basis. Flexibility required to work up to two late shifts a week (up to 9pm) to meet shift requirements.

Boston/Sutton Bridge - 2 days a week (with flexibility to cover Bourne when required).

What we do.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an OH Advisor to support three of our Lincolnshire sites. Our Meals division across Lincolnshire has over 2,000 colleagues, specialising in making prepared fruit, leafy salads, stir fry mixes and ready meals for a variety of retail customers.

This OH Advisor role will work across a number of our Lincolnshire sites, based predominantly from Bourne site (3 days a week) and at our other Lincolnshire sites up to 2 days a week (maximum of 1 hour drive from Bourne) OR we are happy to consider a job share, i.e. 3 days a week in Bourne or 2 days a week in Sutton Bridge/Boston.

About the role:
Bakkavor Meals have a fantastic opportunity become available for a permanent Occupational Health Advisor. This is a multi-site role with Lincolnshire.

The role of the Occupational Health Advisor is to plan, develop & deliver the Occupational Health & Wellbeing Service to the business ensuring full compliance to Health & Safety regulations, to improve attendance and offer improved wellbeing for colleagues.

About you:

  • Nursing Qualification (EN/RGN)
  • Formal Occupational Health Qualification Level 6 Diploma / Degree
  • Experience in Occupational Health practice– min.
  • Awareness of relevant Health & Safety & Employment legislation and able to practically apply this within Occupational Health i.e health surveillance requirements, Equality act etc.
  • First Aid trained
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of Occupational Health within a manufacturing environment
