Location: Spalding, Lincolnshire and UK sites – Hybrid (open to flexibility)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Up to £50k per annum plus 10% annual bonus, private medical insurance

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

About this role.
Are you passionate about safety and technology? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where you can make a real impact on business processes? We're seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our innovative team and help us ensure the highest standards of safety across our operations.

 

In this busy and exciting role, you’ll deliver subject matter expertise and undertake responsibility for the management, development and implementation of products and services through their full life cycle from inception, growth, maturity and decline to retirement. This role focuses on the Technical and Health & Safety pillar within a specific sub-domain in Group IT.

 

Key role responsibilities.

  • Product Expertise: Gain a deep understanding of our technical health and safety products, ensuring they align with our business processes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure seamless product integration and support.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving: Apply logical and analytical approaches to identify and resolve product-related challenges.
  • Communication: Deliver clear, concise, and impactful business communications, including requirement documentation and report writing.
  • Travel: Frequent travel across the UK is essential for this role.

 

About you.
Ideally, you’ll have previous experience within a similar role and the following knowledge/skills:

  • A good understanding of business processes for which products are designed.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of IT and an excellent understanding of how the technical specialism relates to other areas of IT and how it impacts on our business functions
  • The ability to take a logical and analytical approach to problem solving
  • Proficient in Business Written communication and requirements building
  • Business Analytical Foundation understanding
  • Stakeholder Management capability
  • A foundation understanding of Project Management
  • UK Travel is essential – Full Driving Licence required
  • A foundation understanding of Change Management
  • Ideally, experience within the FMCG Industry

 

  • Preferred Criteria
  • Experience in SQL
  • Report Writing (SSRS, Crystal, BI Solutions)
  • An understanding of the development tools used to produce the software products and their system interfaces
  • A good understanding of the development lifecycle and the role of software testing
  • Experience and knowledge in technical food safety software and traceability software
