Salary : £25,116

7am to 7pm Day Shift 12 hours

Days 3s and 2s (Every other / 2nd weekend fully off Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

The role

We are extremely proud to have our very own Bakkavor CLAS/RSA accredited laboratory and would love for you to come and join us as an ‘Assistant Laboratory Technician’ where you will be required to conduct routine microbiological analysis on a range of samples from our local factories.

Bakkavor Central Microbiology Laboratory based at Holbeach St Marks carries out a range of tests on food and environmental samples, testing for Allergens, Yeast, Salmonella and so on.

About You

The ability to work on your own initiative and be a good team player is essential.

You will have an interest or qualification in a Science subject, food safety knowledge and a laboratory background ideally, however full training will be provided.
