What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Specification Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that finished product specifications are completed accurately and delivered to retailers on time.

You will manage retailer systems and processes designed to generate finished product packaging, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all information is consistent, compliant, and aligned with regulatory and customer requirements.

In this dynamic position, you will act as the key link between technical data and packaging execution, maintaining integrity across specification systems while driving efficiency and continuous improvement.

Your expertise will support seamless product launches and ongoing supply, ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision are upheld.

Role Accountabilities

• Complete finished product specifications for retailers, ensuring technical, legal, and quality requirements are met
• Manage retailer systems and processes that generate finished product packaging
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align specifications with business and customer needs
• Maintain and verify data integrity within specification systems
• Support product launches and ongoing supply with accurate, timely documentation
• Drive continuous improvement to streamline processes and reduce errors

• Strong expertise in retailer specification and artwork management
• Sound knowledge of legal labelling requirements and on-pack claim verification
• Ability to manage critical paths and deliver to tight timelines
• Confidence using retailer IT and specification systems to drive efficiency
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance
• Proactive communicator who works effectively across technical and commercial teams
• Continuous improvement mindset with a practical, solutions-focused approach
• Organised and resilient, able to manage multiple priorities effectively
