What we do

 

We’re the market leader in the UK fresh prepared food industry - supplying meals, salads, desserts, pizza and bread to leading grocery retailers including Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose.   

 

In this busy and exciting role, you will be accountable for managing Change Control, including daily Change Schedules and CAB and working with delivery teams to ensure product change/release is appropriately managed in line with corporate standards.

 

You will also be responsible for successful Release, applying the process, systems and functions required to make new and changed services available for use.  This includes assessment, planning and design of release packages, major system Release schedules.

 

Working with business and technology stakeholders at all levels you will be accountable for the successful execution of the Change Control Process and Release Management Process.

 

About you

 

Ideally, you will be educated to bachelor degree level and be holding a relevant professional qualification or alternatively a relevant IT apprenticeship qualification at Level 4 and RITTech, with additional experience.

 

You will have significant practical knowledge of Change, Release and Configuration Management systems ideally within a manufacturing environment. Monitoring of technology risks will be key, as will a demonstratable experience of working with stakeholders at all levels.

 

You will be able to evidence practical involvement in all stages of the project delivery life cycle from feasibility through to support and will have an in depth understanding of risk test management activities.

 

If you have excellent communication skills with substantial experience in dealing with internal and external users and a passion for IT service delivery, this could be the perfect role for you.
