What we do. 

Our Bakkavor factory in Holbeach manufactures a wide range of high-quality chilled pizzas for our key retail customers.  

About the role. 

Our production lines are non-stop, so you’ll be kept busy creating our products. Working right at the heart of our fast-paced, high-pressured environment, you’ll enjoy plenty of variety, be encouraged to find where your strengths lie and supported to achieve your full potential. 

Logistics Base Operative duties may include: 

• Preparation of goods for transportation 
• Receiving, unloading, and checking of deliveries 

• Replenishment of end-of-line, despatch and logistics areas with crates, pallets, and other goods as required 
• Counting of stock 
• Transferring and disposal of materials 
• Monitoring of areas (including despatch, de-box, loading bays and perimeter) for required temperatures. 
• Cleanliness of above areas; ensuring high GMP standards 
• Completion of machinery start-up checks 

About you. 
 

• Relevant Logistics/Stores/Despatch experience, which has ideally been within the food-manufacturing or warehousing environment 
• Counterbalance and Reach FLT licence and achievement of a basic food hygiene certificate would be favourable but not essential
• Good computer literacy skills (Excel, Word, database system) 
• Flexible and willing to undertake other roles/responsibilities if required 
• Capable of working on own initiative with the ability and confidence to make decisions 
• High degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail 
• Knowledge of warehouse systems 
• Stock take/check experience
